RHYNE — BIG MAC

⌾ LISTEN TO RHYNE, BIG MAC ⌾

'Big Mac' is a frenzy of colour and synth, hollow sounds plasma blasting into a bristling thicket of beats, unrelenting in their forward propulsion. Sounding maybe a little like the soundtrack to Einstein's theoretical riding on a beam of a light, the track is a hyperactive tumble into a world of stuttering vocal samples and bone-rattling percussion.

"I wrote it in Joshua Tree desert," says Los Angeles producer RHYNE over email. "I find tracks written away in remote locations tend to sound different to those written in your home studio."

As such, the track marries broad, cosmic brushstrokes of synth — almost otherworldly in aesthetics and 3D, reach-and-out-and-grab-it texture — with hard beats, like a dream spilling out of a brain and onto a packed city dancefloor. In short, leftfield creativity and pure, unadulterated energy combine for an explosion of sound.
